David is exhibiting his dramatic and captivating prints and original paintings that capture the excitement of the age of steam. Very appropriate given Creations location at Carnforth railway station where steam trains often run at weekends in the Spring, Summer and Autumn attracting large crowds: Prices from a very reasonable£30

Eileen Gledhill 

Eileen lives and paints in a small village between the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales. While studying for her degree in Ceramics and MA in Fine Arts Practice, she found that she frequently returned to themes of a ‘sense of place’ and the feelings aroused by engaging directly with wild, rural and coastal landscapes. She uses oil paints and employs a variety of techniques and tools to apply and manipulate the paint, depending on the forms, textures and mood of the subject. Eileen travels as widely as possible in Britain and further afield, mainly in a camper-van, which encourages time spent outside soaking up the atmosphere, colours and light of different places.

    

 

GREETINGS CARDS:  Most of our artists produce greetings cards featuring their own work. Prices start from £2.50.

 

‘Creations’ is a collective that supports 14 local artists and 4 local makers by providing affordable display space. Our exhibitors staff the gallery voluntarily.  It is the ideal place to find that special gift, a unique piece for the home or a memento of your holiday.
