LOCAL LANDSCAPES

Many of our artists are ispired by the beautiful landscapes of North Lancashire. Much of the area is designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty whilst Morecambe Bay is an internationally protected environment recognised for its importance for birdlife.

James Park

James Park is a talented photographer living in Silverdale.
He uses his close knowledge of the area to capture striking photographic images of natural scenes. Prices from £45 upwards.

Liz Withey

Liz Withey is a skillful and prolific photographer based in Carnforth. Most of the photos on this website of our exhibitors work were taken by Liz.
Her subjects include the town’s canal and railway heritage and scenes of the outstanding landscapes nearby. Prices range from £15:

Mike Cooper

Mike Cooper is a local landscape artist whose paintings often depict the stunningly beautiful scenery in the Arnside and Silverdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and scenes from further afield.

Rusty Cards 

Liz Donaldson lives at Arnside and specialises in producing crisp, colourful digital artwork of scenes from her picturesque home village. She has also created a range of unique greetings cards. Small prints from £10.

Christine Rooney

Christine Rooney paints colourful, quirky and amusing pictures of local villages scenes, townscapes and harbours as well as subjects of special importance to her clients such as homes, farms and gardens. Her work has proved very popular with visitors to the gallery. Prices from £75.

‘Creations’ is a collective that supports 14 local artists and 4 local makers by providing affordable display space. Our exhibitors staff the gallery voluntarily.  It is the ideal place to find that special gift, a unique piece to decorate your home,or a memento of your holiday.
