ABOUT US

OUR ETHOS: We are a collective of local artists and artisan makers who staff the gallery voluntarily. We are able to provide low-cost display space where our artists can showcase their talents and make art and craft more accessible to a wider audience. 

MORE THAN JUST A GALLERY! We aim to make Creations a hub for community engagement. We will host demonstrations, workshops and other events that bring people together to learn, create and share their love of arts and crafts. We will be holding a series of art & craft demonstration events when some of our exhibitors will show how they go about their work. These will be held in the former ticket office at Carnforth railway station, a few steps from ‘Creations’ Gallery. You can learn about crafts such as stone carving, print making, painting and ceramics and maybe try your hand! Click here for future events
